More Guitar

On Friday my front porch was littered with boxes of guitar hero controllers. I ordered 3 off the new Schecter-esk model and 3 of the Les Pauls. They all happened to show up on the same day. I was really impressed with the hardware inside of the newer guitars. The strum bars in all of the previous models use 2 pushbuttons but this one has 2 snap action switches. Also, the neck connecter slides together like usb. This will give it a much longer life then the older kind. The thing uses 12 connection thats 4 MORE to exploit! 

To be honest, I don't like any of the "Rock Band"s or "Guitar Hero"s. I'm sure it's a great video game but people forget that it's JUST a video game. I've never met a proficient guitarist that said they started by playing Guitar Hero.

Prom is coming up this Friday. I'm working on an Orange LED bow tie to match my girlfriend's dress. I swear I'll get some pictures up soon of everything that's going on. I'm just really busy right now trying to balance life. There isn't enough time in the day... hmm... maybe if I cut out my 2 hours of sleep every weekday :]
